I was so excited to find a beach we could take the dog to this week!
Yes, I know....he's spoiled rotten.
I also spent some time with my little man this week doing various craft projects. Here we are painting rocks! I suggested we make pet rocks, but he thought that was too babyish....'cause you know....when you're 8 you're all grown up! Geez!
Aren't we artists? Now the question is...what do we do with them? Maybe we'll add them to our garden or use them as door stops.

Lucy Caulkin's books as I learn how to implement a writer's workshop in my classroom. Since this is only my third year teaching first grade, teaching writing is still fairly new to me so I'm still "learning the ropes."
My goal this summer was to get at least 20 products in my Teacher's Pay Teacher's store. Tonight I added my 21st

Creativity to the Core
I actually was lucky enough to have training using the Lucy Caulkins series for writer's workshop. It's a lot of information but I love how the books have detailed lesson plans that are easy to follow and implement in your classroom. Good luck!
