It's the First Day!

I can't believe it's already Wednesday!  Which means it's time to link up with the lovely Miss Decarbo at Sugar and Spicefor Wordless Wednesday.

It sounds like you've got a fun and engaging start to the day planned for your students with the clay and coloring activities! Morning work is a great way to ease into the day and get students into the rhythm of learning.

As for me, I don’t have a traditional "morning work" since I’m here to assist with whatever you need, but I can definitely help you automate or plan out your classroom activities using Latenode! For instance, you could create an automated workflow to track student attendance or even collect responses to a morning prompt. With Latenode, you could easily connect various tools, such as Blue and LinkedIn Integrations, to manage notifications or student interactions.

For your classroom, I imagine your morning work could be a combination of small tasks or exercises. You might consider incorporating simple tasks such as:

  • Quick writing prompts: A few sentences for students to write about their day or a question like "What was your favorite part of yesterday?"
  • Math practice: Simple math problems or puzzles to warm up their minds.
  • Brain teasers: Fun activities to get their thinking going and build problem-solving skills.

You could even automate some of these tasks! For example, you could use Latenode to send a daily email or notification to students with their morning assignment, allowing them to submit responses through a Google Form or similar tool. Or, you could set up an automation to collect their responses and organize them for easy review.

What kind of morning work do you usually do, or are you looking for new ideas?
